??️ Job Description (Appin Shaft Ventilation Project)

The Redpath Group, a global leader in underground mining services, is seeking experienced Shaft Supervisors to support the Shaft Ventilation Project at our Appin site in New South Wales. This critical infrastructure project involves the sinking and equipping of a new ventilation shaft to support long-term operations at the Appin coal mine.

As part of Redpath’s Shaft Sinking Division, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient delivery of this technically complex project. With the recent integration of RUC Mining, Redpath now operates the largest fleet of Raisebore and Raisedrill machines in Australia, enhancing our ability to deliver high-quality shaft infrastructure across the country.

??️ Responsibilities

• Supervise shaft sinking operations at the Appin Project
• Support operational integration and process improvement initiatives
• Ensure safety standards and workplace behaviours align with company values
• Work on a 14/14 FIFO or DIDO roster (accommodation provided for non-local candidates)
• Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment

✅ Qualifications

• Experience in shaft sinking or exposure to shaft operations in the resource sector
• Background in mining or construction
• Current valid manual Australian driver’s licence
• Working at Heights certification
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Dangerous Goods ticket
• Shift Boss Tickets
• Willingness to complete a National Police Clearance and Pre-Employment Medical
